course is designed to provide hands-on training in digital methods (using Adobe
6.0)
that are applicable to Bite Mark Analysis and Dental Identification.
Participants will have their own computer workstation. Topics will include:

Digitization of forensic evidence photographs
o
Detection and correction of photographic distortion
o
Production of digital exemplars of bite marks and suspect
dentition
o
Metric and spatial methods useful in performing forensic bite
mark comparisons
o
Protocols for a systematic approach to bite mark analysis using
